LTO-NCR Brings Essential Services Closer to Government and Academic Communities

The Land Transportation Office – National Capital Region (LTO-NCR) continues to bring accessible, efficient, and community-centered public service closer to the public through its LTO On-Wheels mobile servicing initiatives and road safety programs.

From July 20 to 30, 2026, LTO-NCR successfully brought essential services and driver education programs to various government and academic institutions, including the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Central Office, the University of the Philippines Manila (UP Manila), and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Headquarters – Marine Security Law Enforcement Command in Taguig City.

The two-day LTO On-Wheels activity at the DTI Central Office on July 20–21 provided convenient access to essential transactions, including Driver’s License renewals and Student Permit applications, allowing public servants and stakeholders to avail themselves of government services without the need to travel to regular LTO offices.

On July 22–23, LTO-NCR brought LTO On-Wheels services and the Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) to the UP Manila community. The initiative provided students and members of the academic community with greater access to driver education and essential LTO transactions while promoting responsible and safe road use.

Meanwhile, on July 30, LTO-NCR, in partnership with the LTO Central Office – Traffic Safety Division, conducted LTO On-Wheels services and a Road Safety Seminar at the Philippine Coast Guard Headquarters – Marine Security Law Enforcement Command in Taguig City. The activity brought licensing, registration, driver education, and road safety initiatives closer to the country’s uniformed personnel and public servants.

Through strategic partnerships with government agencies and academic institutions, LTO-NCR continues to reduce the inconvenience of long queues and travel by bringing vital government services directly to communities and institutions.
