LTO-NCR conducted plate distribution at the SM North EDSA on August 8 and at the SM City Sta. Mesa on August 11, releasing a total of 883 motorcycle plates. On August 9, Saturday operations in LTO-NCR District and Extension Offices released 984 plates.
The program was also conducted at the PITX (Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange) on August 13 and at the SM Manila on August 15, releasing 276 plates.

Assistant Regional Director Atty. Dennis P. Barrion said the Saturday operations were launched in response to public requests.
“Many of our fellow Filipinos have work during weekdays, so we opened weekend schedules to serve them,” ARD Barrion noted.

“This Online Plate Inquiry System, linked to our official website, allows the public to conveniently check if their motorcycle plates have been released to their dealers,” RD Verzosa said. “This will reduce waiting time and improve client convenience.”
“The Palit Plaka Program, officially launched on July 31, 2025, covers motorcycles assigned or issued a 7-character plate, those with a 6-character green plate registered in 2017 or earlier, and those still using their MV File Number as a temporary plate registered in 2017
or earlier.
