July 08, Tuesday – The Land Transportation Office – National Capital Region (LTO-NCR), in collaboration with the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), conducted a two-day Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) at the NCRPO Hinirang Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City. The course was held for NCRPO police officers who are planning to apply for a Student Driver’s Permit.

LTO-NCR Regional Director Roque I. Verzosa III emphasized the significance of the initiative, stating:

This collaborative effort highlights the shared commitment of LTO-NCR and NCRPO to fostering safer roads by ensuring that law enforcement personnel serve as role models for responsible and well-informed driving.
Regional Director Verzosa also encouraged other institutions—including government agencies, barangays, schools, and private organizations—to take an active role in promoting road safety. He invited interested groups to submit formal requests if they wish to host or participate in similar seminars or driving programs.
