PUBLIC ADVISORY: SATURDAY OPERATIONS ON SELECTED LICESING CENTERS UNDER LTO-NCR.

We would like to inform the public that the following offices will be operational on Saturday, December 06, 2025:

1. LTO San Juan Licensing Center – 108 N Domingo St., Brgy. Pedro Cruz, San Juan City

2. LTO Paranaque City Licensing Branch (PCLB-PITX) – PITX 2nd Floor, 1 Kennedy Road, Tambo, Parañaque City.

3. Quezon City Licensing Center – LTO Main Compound, Brgy. Pinyahan, East Ave, Quezon City.

I. PUBLIC ADVISORY: SCHEDULE OF MOTOR VEHICLE RENEWAL REGISTRATION

Did you know that you have to follow a schedule to renew your vehicle’s registration based on its license plate?
The last number identifies the month; meanwhile, the second to last number is for the week.

The schedule is made to avoid the influx of renewals.

Just be alert! You can also renew your registration 60 days before its expiry.

 

II. PUBLIC ADVISORY: MOTORCYCLE BACKLOG PLATES, NOW AVAILABLE!

You can now claim your license plates at the Regional Office or District/Extension Offices — hassle-free and absolutely FREE!

Who is eligible or required to get a new license plate?

All motorcycles with an MV (Motor Vehicle) File Number starting with “13” and “1801”:

1. That have already been assigned or issued a 7-character plate,

2. That have a 6-character green plate, and

3. Motorcycles that have not yet been issued an actual plate and are still using their MV File Number as a temporary plate, registered in 2017 or earlier.

I. For New Motor Vehicle / Motorcycle Plate Inquiry:

For new vehicle or motorcycle owners who want to check if their plates have been released to their dealer.

For motorcycles without a recorded plate number on their Certificate of Registration (CR), and included in the backlogs. Search using your MV File Number.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Only motorcycles with NCR MV File Numbers and updated registrations are eligible to be issued plate numbers from our office.

 

 

III. PUBLIC ADVISORY: TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP

The LTO-NCR reminds the public, especially those purchasing second-hand cars or motorcycles, to transfer ownership immediately after purchase. This step is not only crucial for your protection but also ensures compliance with the law, promoting responsible vehicle ownership and road safety.

V. PUBLIC ADVISORY: AVOID PHISHING SCAMS

This is to inform the public to be vigilant when encoding our details to the internet.

Messages via SMS or E-mail are circulated and accompanied by a link, leading to a fake website requesting personal information (bank account details, passwords, ETC..).

Do not engage with suspicious messages. Delete and ignore the received message or coordinate with our legitimate digital media public assistance below:

VIII. PUBLIC ADVISORY: 2600 LTO SMS VERIFICATION

We would like to inform the Public that the 2600 LTO SMS Verification is no longer connected to the new LTO system (LTMS). The said SMS Verification is connected to the processes under “LTO IT System” only.

Our vehicle registration can be verified through our LTMS Portal.

XIII. PUBLIC ADVISORY: EXPRESS WAY LANES

Here is the correct use of expressway lanes set for each vehicle. It is important to follow its usage to keep the flow of traffic smooth and safe and avoid accidents.

XIV. PUBLIC ADVISORY: NO TO FIXERS

Avoid dealing with Online Assistance or Fixers. These people are not employed, related, or affiliated with the LTO. Dealing with fixers is a violation under RA 10930 and may result in a P20,000 penalty and prohibition from obtaining a license for 2 years.
