Note: This plate inquiry is only for motor vehicles and motorcycles whose initial registration or replacement plate transactions were processed through LTO-NCR offices. REPLACEMENT PLATE INQUIRY For replacement plates applied for in 2015 to replace old green plates with new white plates, as part of the standardization of all registered vehicles in the country. BRAND NEW MV/MC PLATE INQUIRY For owners of brand-new motor vehicles and motorcycles to check if their plates have been released to their dealers. BACKLOG MC PLATE INQUIRY For motorcycles whose assigned plate numbers are not indicated on their Certificate of Registration (CR) and are considered part of the backlog. | Can I process a transfer of ownership at a different LTO District or Extension Office? | Yes! You can process the transfer of ownership at the nearest LTO District or Extension Office in your area. Just bring the motor vehicle for actual inspection along with the required documents. The processing LTO office will email the requirements to the concerned office for online confirmation. Once the reply is received, the transfer of ownership will be processed immediately.

| Can I renew my driver's license while I am abroad? | Yes! You can renew your driver's license while you are abroad through an authorized representative.
An authorized representative may renew your driver's license on your behalf, provided that your license has not been expired for more than two (2) years. The renewal must be processed at the LTO Central Office Licensing Section, East Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.
